XIII Rota Best Paper Award 2025: New call for paper | Deadline: 15 September 2025

The Centro Einaudi, with support from Fondazione CRT, in collaboration with the Department of Economics and Statistics “Cognetti De Martiis” (ESt, University of Turin) and the Department of Economics, Social Studies, Applied Mathematics and Statistics (ESOMAS, University of Turin), and with the endorsement of the UNESCO Chair in Economics of Culture and Heritage, is delighted to launch the 13th edition of the Giorgio Rota Best Paper Award.
Young rsearchers are invited to submit up to two original research papers to the prize competition on the following theme:
Economic Perspectives on Art, Culture, and Heritage
This edition, in memory of the distinguished economist Giorgio Rota, seeks outstanding scientific contributions exploring the roles that art, culture, and heritage play in economic development and social progress. Since the 1980s, the rise of the knowledge-based economy has made cultural and creative sectors vital sources of innovation, employment, and income. In today’s complex global landscape, this prize aims to highlight the interaction between creativity, markets, and society.
